Private email infrastructure & deliverability engineering

Managed SMTP

A dedicated MTA that we operate on your behalf, with ongoing tuning, monitoring, reputation management and incident response. All the isolation of dedicated infrastructure with none of the operational burden.

Overview

Managed SMTP is Dedicated SMTP with a full operations envelope. Northbound engineers monitor throughput, deliverability, feedback loops and IP reputation continuously, and act on issues without waiting for the client to notice them.

This is the format most retained clients choose. It is designed for senders who need the outcome — inbox placement at volume — but do not want to hire or retain the internal deliverability team required to sustain it.

The service includes a monthly written review, a named engineer, incident response with defined SLAs, and quarterly infrastructure planning against the client's roadmap.

Benefits

  • Named deliverability engineer as a single point of contact
  • 24/7 on-call coverage for retained clients
  • Continuous seed testing and inbox placement measurement
  • Monthly written review with actions and volume forecasts
  • Proactive complaint remediation before reputation drops

Questions

Is on-call really 24/7?
Yes, for retained clients on the managed tier. Off-hours pages route to the engineer on rotation.
Do you handle blocklist delisting?
Yes. Where the source of the listing is our infrastructure, we handle it as part of operations. Where the source is the client's list or content, we coordinate the delisting request with the client and remediate the root cause together.
